About William A. Keaty, II
William A. Keaty, II is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and is proud to call Acadiana his home. After attending Georgetown Preparatory School in Maryland, he studied Psychology at Boston College in Massachusetts and graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in 1997. Will worked in the field of psychology for eight years before moving back to his home state of Louisiana.
Will graduated from Southern University Law Center in 2009. He was a Law Clerk for the 15th and 16th Judicial District Courts. Upon passing the Bar Exam, Will began his own practice and has since been representing clients throughout Acadiana in a variety of legal matters. His primary focus includes family law and estate planning.
Will was elected as Justice of the Peace, Ward 4 of Vermilion Parish in 2015. He is also a Certified Legal Mediator and was recently elected as the president for the Family Law Section of the Lafayette Bar Association.
Will is married to Erin McKenzie Keaty of Lafayette. They reside in Maurice with their four children and attend St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Will is an avid duck hunter and art enthusiast. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
